I wanted to share something with you all. Justine has come up with a truly wonderful idea about bartering / trading for Christmas. Since we all make things that we all tend to buy from each other anyway , why not trade for the things we want ie. barter. I know when I read her blog I was really excited about this since I know all to well that everyone of us could use a break this holiday season. So what do you think? I have not seen one crafter here who doesn't make something that someone would like to have or give as a gift. It's just what  Doctor Ken Clarke (ex-Tory Chancellor) ordered.  Nope, don't look to Nu Labour for original ideas.  Hooray!  I say again, hooray!  Hang out the bunting. Every family in the country should rejoice, each standing to gain a tenner a week. Don't sneeze at it, folks. Think what a tenner will buy you in Tescos or Waitrose these days, or at your local filling station.

There has been much Tory nervousness about opinion polls recently. They had only a 3 point lead in last week's Mori poll and that suggested the day is coming soon when Labour draws level or pushes into the lead. With the avalanche of publicity the government is about to get for throwing more of our own money at us taxpayers it would be a fool who bet against it.

But tonight's ICM poll for The Sunday Mirror will come as a relief to the Tory high command with its eleven point lead, even if the trend is with Labour (as Anthony Wells points out at the indispensable UK polling report). The Tories are down a point and Labour up one.

But the figures are: CON 42%(-1), LAB 31%(+1), LIB DEM 19%(+1). Despite the Brown bounce, which has rebuilt the core Labour vote and shows a few signs of reaching out into floating voter land, the Tories continue to be above 40%. In 25 polls since September 14th, the Conservatives have polled below 40 only twice: on September 26th and October 18th, both for Com Res and both giving the Tories 39.

So far, under sustained assault from a rejuvenated PM and with an economic emergency on the go which has taxed David Cameron and George Osborne, there the party has continued to sit: above the magic 40%. Since Peter Mandelson, the great New Labour strategist, returned to the cabinet in early October that has been the case. Mandelson and Brown will know that the test of Monday's PBR is whether it can deliver a run of polls in which the Labour rating starts consistently with a four and the Conservatives with a three. Then it really would be game on for an early 2009 election.

Hey people! Random blog for some random thought, comin atcha!

I cant really make a SmackDown thoughts blog because:

a) I was shopping with my friend and by the time I got home, got packed, headed out, got to my destination, found my cousin, turned on the TV, I was just there in time to see Jeffs match. :D Yayz.

b) After Jeffs match was over, the fire alarm went off and the fire department came so I had to go downstairs and wait for the all clear to go back up.

c) My cuz and I decided to go chill out, out of the room.

So, ya. I thank you God that there was no fire!! That was so scary, running down those flights of stairs!!

I imagine SmackDown was good, too bad I missed it.

So, while I was at the mall I picked up a copy of "Twist of Fate: The Matt & Jeff Hardy Story" and a Hardyz poster which I am very happy I found. Got the 3D WWE magazine and some earrings, armbands, and some fuzzy peaches.

This is such an awesome DVD. I have watched both stories today and l8r on I plan on watching the matches. It really give you alot of detail and insight...its awesome! Rating 5/5!

So I have begun a top secret cosplay project as it turns out it's a lot harder then i had expected. I under stand that I was going to have to put a lot of work into this project. the parts that i'm going to have to build is going to have to be made out of wood and maybe some plastic hopefully just wood I dont like working with plastic unless I have to. I also need to figure out how exsactly i'm going to make it sturdy and not weigh a ton.

You know it makes sense.

Okey after god knows how long I have finally found and bought the most perfect wig for my Lulu cosplay. Luckly it is already black so I wont have to worry about dying it ^_^ (yay for me!!!) anyway it's going to take a while for me to figure out just how exsactly I'm going to style a floor lenth wig.

I'm thinking that I might do the corn rows and the bun then cut off the rest and use it as the braid extentions that fall down her back.

Back to the point of this thing is does anyone have any ideas they could share with me?

So I have found some fake fur at Wal-Mart the other day it looks like it will be perfect for Lulus fur around the top of her out fit. The only problem is that the back of the fur stuff is really itchy, so I think I'm ging to have to put a backing of some sort on it. I wonder what I should use? Maybe some of the left over material from one of my other costumes.
